Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

1st prints are missing the paper edge for about an inch, subsequent prints in the same bundle align by the 3rd print . starts over on next print attempt.

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that you are facing an alignment issue on your printer. 

Not to worry, I will be glad to help. 

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

Have you tried to print from other applications?

Do you face the issue if you make a copy on the printer?

 

Request you check the paper guide, make sure that papers are fit correctly. Refer to page numbers 19-20 in the printer manual for assistance. Click here for the printer manual. 

Make sure the correct paper size and paper type are selected in the application you are using to print. 

If the issue persists, please perform an alignment on the printer. Refer to page number 66 in the user manual. 

After performing all the steps, if the issue persists, please contact our phone support for any service options available fro your printer. 

 

Please follow the procedure mentioned below to contact our phone support. 

  • Open link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
  • Enter Product number or select to auto detects
  • Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
  • Scroll down and click on HP contact options - click on Get phone number.
