replacing cartridge

good night, i want to ask about my cartridge. my printer wont work with two cartridges and i dont why (nothings wrong with my printer before i replaced the cartridge) and when i tried to used only with black cartridge without colour cartridge, he want to print my work sheet. can you tell me whats wrong with that? thank you
