I sometimes scan documents that have both single-side & double-side pages AND/OR legal-size & letter-size pages - how do I set HP8710 to sense these pages and automatically SKIP scanning blank pages &/or REDUCE legal to letter-size?

#1. how do I set to automatically skip blank pages?

#2. how do I set to to automatically reduce legal size to letter size?

#3. how do I set to automatically do both #1 & #2 at the same time?

Thanks!

Thanks for taking an interest in the HP Support Forums! After reading your post I see that you want your printer to skip blank pages and scan in letter size. I would like to help you out with this issue today.

It is not possible to skip the blank pages.

You can select the scan size as shown bellow in HP Scan app to scan in letter size.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.
