Can't scan from desktop. Scan from laptop works fine, so no hardware issues. Desktop scan gets error message "...required software component missing. reinstall photojet software..." error message code is 4,[(2,0,80040154),(0,0,0),(3,56,0)]
Dont have any photojet software. Have uninstalled and reinstalled latest full software/drivers several times. Wired network connection is recognized etc. The uninstall via Windows programs and features hits an error near the end and is forced to close, but continues on and requests a restart. The reinstall seems to go fine (except for Bing Bar) - it finds the network printer and installs all software etc. scan choice window comes up but actual scan causes error. I was scanning pictures to a file.
anyone have a similar problem or a fix?
