If I print from my computer a document that has "grey shaded box sections" it will print fine.  If I copy that same form using my printer, it doesn't pick up the "grey shaded boxes".  I tried to scan it back to my printer and again my printer doesn't pick up the grey shaded boxes.

Printer works fine if I print from the computer.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  I have followed the instructions on the hp site, but it didn't help.

Greetings @Skokie

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that some parts of the document that has gray check boxes do not get scanned or copied, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to help.

Have you tried to scan using different applications? Click here

Recommend you review the scan settings and check if you change the contrast and brightness setting in the scanning application to resolve the issue you are facing.

Try to scan in different formats.

If the issue persists, please share a screenshot of the document and the scanned image.

Let me know how it goes.
