hp 7525 all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

my 7525 wont print even though all ink cartridges are full.  It just shoots out blank pages.  I can't clean the printer heads as the tool icon does do anything.

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I understand that you have an HP Photosmart 7525 e-All-in-One Printer. I read that the printer does not print anything and shoots out blank pages. You're unable to clean the printhead as the tool icon does not do anything. Not to worry. I'll do my best to help you.

To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you using original HP ink cartridges or refilled ink?
  • are the ink levels fine? From the home screen of the printer control panel, touch the Ink icon . The current ink levels display.
  • Did any hardware changes take place on the printer (cartridge replacement, paper jam, etc.)?
  • Is the printer able to make a copy?

I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:

  • Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
  • Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
  • Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
  • The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector. Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.

If the issue persists then I suggest you to perform the steps as described in detail from this link. These steps usually help is fixing print quality issues.

NOTE: You may skip Step 1 to Step 3.

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Keep me posted. Cheers! 🙂
