z6200
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm having some trouble with my z6200 not entering the service menu. I press the up arrow + cancel + power for 5 seconds. It turns on then turns straight off again? I'm trying to fix a 24:10 error and this is really strarting to annoy me.

Anyone please help

Hi,

You need to use the OK key instead of the Cancel.

Best regards

Thank you for that. I was confused why they would put the other sequence in the z6200 service manual when it's wrong?

I'm trying to fix a broken bag message and when I enter the recover broken bag menu I get a message saying - error 01.0.10 - fail reading GPIO channel check also ISS PCA 01.2:10

Do you know what this means? I had a broken bag in the light cyan channel and it wanted me to purge the light cyan and matt black channels, but won't go pass this message for some reason. I noticed ink in the light cyan air tube so removed all of it and made sure it was totally clean so I don't know what else to do.

Thanks again

Disregard my last question I was able to fix it by clearing the errom and restarting the printer. If anyone has the same problem this is how to fix it.

If you get a broken bag message take the left side panel off, make sure the air lines are clear (if you take them off make sure they are perfect when you put them back on e.g. no marks or scratches that could cause a leak) Then run a clear errom from the service menu - hold up arrow and OK then press the power button normally, but keep the others held down until you see the loading screen or a few seconds. Then scroll down to see the errom option. Click ok.  Saved myself some dollars and kept my customers happy
