With HP DeskJet 2700, Deskjet Plus 4100, Deskjet 6000, ENVY 6000, Deskjet 6400, Envy 6400 Printers, how can I find the EWS Administrator password to log in to the EWS Page of the printer?

Answer

The username is admin (all lower case).

Open the cartridge access door and locate the label within this area, the listed PIN is the default administrator password:

Print and scan works wirelessly but can not access the app thru setting.

App indicates "printer status unknown" and then asks for a password.

Assign an administrator password to access the printer and the HP Embedded Web Server so that unauthorized users cannot change printer settings.
In the address bar of your web browser, type the printer's IP address or hostname to open the embedded web server. For more information, see Open the HP Embedded Web Server (EWS).
On the EWS home page, click the Sign In button in the upper right corner of the page, and then enter the administrator credentials, as follows:
Local device account: administrator
Password: admin
Click on the Security tab.
In the left navigation pane, click General Security.
In the Username field, type or select the desired administrator username.
Enter a password in the New password field, and then enter it again in the Verify password field.

i dont have time to read all of this need help to print, normally hp 4155 e prints not with that name on printer but 4100 weird everything is on @ wifi normally prints on mobile and computer rebooted everything nothing
