HP Office Jet Pro 9010

My one year old OfficeJet Pro 9010 is in a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error state: 01B3B8E6.  I have tried unplugging for 60+ seconds and plugging back in.  The cord is plugged directly into a wall outlet.  I tried removing the print cartridges and doing this same reset.  All efforts still yield the printer locked up in an error state.  During the reset process, the printer display shows the HP logo and progress bar.  At about 2/3 progress, the display changes to say "Checking the printer.  Please wait..."  Then, about 2 seconds later returns to the BSOD with flashing power button, power indicator light, wi-fi indicator, Return, Home, and Help indicators. Sometimes it also flashes 042d34e8. Could someone please help.

Hi @Omar52,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving a "01B3BB8E6 " error.

Try the below suggestions -

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

If the issue persists, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
