Product: Officejet Pro Plus 8600
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

We have two HP printers in our network, an older HP Officejet Pro Plus 8600 and a newer HP Officejet Pro 7740. When projects are printed on the 8600 (in my office), the queue almost never clears automatically. When printing documents I have to clear the queue after nearly every document. Yet, the 7740 printer (in a room remote from my office) almost always clears the queue when printing using the same computer.

 

There is no clear reason one printer wouldn't clear the queue and the troubleshooting steps have been taken without avail. What recommendations do you have, short of manually clearing the queue after every job or uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers (which hasn't worked 4 or 5 times already)?
