I have a desk jet 2600.  When I print a document, the first page is always illegible. If I print multiple copies, it’s fine.  I tried cleaning and alignment, but that doesn’t fix the problem.  Also, I don’t think that’s the issue anyway.  The only way it works is if I print multiple copies.  If I only print one copy, the first page is illegible and the rest are fine, if I then print another single copy, the first page is still illegible and the rest are fine.  I have to print multiple copies at the same time in order for the first page to print clearly. This one has me stumped.
