If it is not working using whatever method you have tried,

HP Smart > Shortcuts support Google Drive (signed in) for Print, Email, Save.

Create a Shortcut to print the file (after it is opened in HP Smart).

Open your file-to-print in HP Smart as a PDF or Image file

When the file is open and you are ready to Print,

Select your next option as Shortcuts

Select the shortcut you have created for the task, and click to start the Shortcut.

The example is for OneCloud --

The general HP Smart > Shortcut setup for Google Drive is similar, except, of course, you need to be signed into Google Drive to access the space and select the "Print" option instead of (or, in addition to) Save.
