HP 8035
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have tried to power on and off in the recommended sequence without resolution.  I tried to put a new copy of the SW on my computer, but it indicates I already have the latest software.  I am unable to set up a case number apparently because the warranty expired on January 13 2021 - although the problem had started before this date.  I am trying to reach Jay in Customer Support, but don't know how to send a private message.

Any suggestions are welcome.  After turning it off and then putting power back on the printer it lasts between a few minutes and a couple of hours until the error comes back, and then the display just flashes blank.  Without a fix, my printer is dead

Hi @Deane_B1,

I'd like to help!

Let's try a power reset on the printer

Reset the product

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Wait at least 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

Reconnect the power cord to the printer.

Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

I have the exact same issue with my HP OJ Pro 8020

If I keep it turned off and turn it on to print something, I am getting by, but if I leave it on, it all kicks off - all lights flashing and error code B347EC67 so I have to unplug it / re-plug it.

I suspect there was a duff firmware update come through and maybe something to do with power saving but can't be sure.

I'd appreciate an update too on this, otherwise I am going to return it and get a new one - then disable OTA updates.
