I have a long print job that I  cancel by pushing the red x on the control panel and the job stops. The screen says job cancelled. Approximately 10 seconds later, the job starts to print again from the beginning. I cancel again and the sequence begins again. Help.

The job may not be clearing properly from the print queue.

Assuming Windows:

Restart services

Cancel Print Jobs in the Printer Queue

I was able to get hold of an IT person at HP.  The following works:

Hold down the Windows key on the keyboard at the same time you are holding down  (Capital) R.

Run box will appear; then type in Control Printers.

Right click on the printer icon on your desktop and dlick Delete.

That should work.
