Hi 👋, very new to the comm

unity.  I have just purchased hp 6100e series and attempted to print an A6 card.

I managed to select the settings on the laptop for A 6 printing.  I placed the paper in the tray and brought the two sliders together until it fitted the paper.   The paper was midline in the printer.

I pushed the paper as far in as it would go.

The image

1. Did not fit to the paper there was a small maybe about 0.25cm border on either side

2. Only the bottom half printed, tried twice same outcome.

3. I wanted double sided I am not even sure what happened it just did not automatically reload for double sided.

I would be happy if someone would help please as I navigate the functions of this printer

thanks 🙏

Did you set the paper size on the printer control panel? These printers do not auto-detect paper size so if you do not tell it that there is a6 paper loaded it will assume whatever default paper size is loaded, typically A4. Download the user guide from support.hp.com for details no setting your printer.
