The APP funcion on the screen has stopped working. It is telling me that I need to turn it on in the ESW. Where do I find the ESW?

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-
- Which App function are you referring to?
- And is it EWS and not ESW?
- Could you please elaborate on the issue?

On the printer display on the front of the printer there are several different icons. Among them are "Documents", "Fax", "Scan", etc, etc. The last icon is "Apps" . Whenever I try to use the "Apps" icon I receive the message that the print "Apps" has been turned off and to use the embedded web server "EWS" to turn it back on.
