Hello everybody,

 

Again a big grief/complaint for HP about the inkt cartridges....

 

For some time now I used to advise customers (as an Managed Service Provider in IT) to buy HP printers all the way.

However, as I found out with my own Office 3830, it seems HP is preventing customers to use any other inkt cartridges then the original HP inktcartridge.

 

Is there any way to downgrade to an older firmware for this beloved MFP or can I trow it with the trash?

And no, please do not advise or force me to use HP inktcartridges, the prints where just fine before the latest firmware update.
