Align printer

Hi

My printing is not aligned. I ran a diagnostic and its confirmed this, with the instruction to "Align Printer".

Problem is it doesnt say how.

I found instructions elsewhere, which for my Mac OS system its to go to system preferences, find my printer then click on options and supplies, then I need to go to utilities, but there is no utilities option.

Printer is connected and can print normally (subject to the mis-alignment).

Any ideas?

Which version of macOS are you using?

HP Utility will get installed with HP drivers. If you have the printer installed via AirPrint driver, you will not find HP Utility on your MAC. Click here to download HP Utility.

Refer to step 7 in this document to know how to align the ink cartridges.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
