Lenovo Flex 5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The 6958 stopped printing or copying in black. I installed a new HP cartridge, performed all the maintenance steps suggested on the forum, cleaned the printer head and ran the ink smear test...nothing..the page is blank!

It worked fine then it started getting fainter and then nothing.

Hello,

You seem to have tried all the steps, however try all the steps including Step-8 and step-9 as mentioned in the below document.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-6950-all-in-one-printer-series/9666193/model/15129...

If issue persists, it could be a Printhead issue which is a fixed part in this printer. Hence printer need to be serviced / replaced.

Regards,
Jabzi
