When printing a Word or Excel document or a downloaded PDF this printer works fine. As soon as try to print a PDF on a viewer in Chrome, or a document on Google Docs, all lights start blinking. Both colour and black ink lights, the Bluetooth button, the paper feed button and the power button.
This combination of errors is not listed in the troubleshooting manual.
It's impossible to do anything when the printer is in this state, even turning off the power switch and holding down any/all buttons for a period of time will not work. I have to unplug the power, remove the battery, disconnect printet cable and wait for a minute before reconnecting all. And it only works if the power source is NOT an extension cable! This routine seems to reset the printer.
There have been threads in the past on the all the blinking lights but no-one has stated when they notice the issue occurring.
Has anyone else experienced being OK to print on some apps but not the browser? If so is there anything I can do to print via the Chrome browser? I've not tried other browsers as they just don't work for my laptop/very slow.
It seems like you are having this issue only while printing from a browser. Printing the saved documents work fine. I'd suggest using an alternate browser like Firefox or Microsoft Edge for testing purpose.
Also, update the printer firmware
