Hi @Kt27001

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The "EE" error with all lights flashing on your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2700 printer series typically indicates a system issue.

Here are detailed steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

Step 1: Restart the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  2. Wait for 30 seconds.
  3. Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer on.
  4. Check if the error persists.

Step 2: Check for Paper Jams

  1. Open the printer’s access door and inspect for any paper jams or debris.
  2. Carefully remove any stuck paper without tearing it.
  3. Ensure there are no obstructions inside the printer, especially near the rollers.

Step 3: Inspect Ink Cartridges

  1. Open the ink cartridge access door.
  2. Remove the cartridges and check for any damage or debris on the copper contacts.
  3. Clean the contacts gently with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with distilled water.
  4. Reinstall the cartridges and close the access door.

Step 4: Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.
  3. Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

Step 5: Update Printer Firmware

  1. Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support
  2. Download and install the latest firmware updates for your printer.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

Step 6: Run HP Print and Scan Doctor

  1. Download and install the Official HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows | Free Download hppsdr.exe on your computer.
  2. Open the tool and follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printer issues.
