Hi There,

I keep getting a blue screen that has error code: B824F444 on it... I search this error and it comes up with nothing.

It's a OfficeJet Pro 7740 series.

Hi @SimbaInvestment,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code B824F444 on your HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 series printer seems to be quite uncommon.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about a minute, then plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Update Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for firmware updates on the HP Support website.

Check for Software Issues:

  • Make sure your printer software and drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers and software from the HP website.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure all cables (USB, power, network) are securely connected.
  • If you are using a wireless connection, make sure the printer is properly connected to your network.

Factory Reset:

  • Restoring the printer to its factory settings might resolve the issue. Note that this will remove any custom settings and preferences.
  • Go to the printer’s menu, find the setup options, and look for a "Restore Defaults" or "Factory Reset" option.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
