Black Ink won't print

HP Recommended
OfficeJet Pro 6978

I recently replaced my ink cartridges and now black isn't printing at all. The levels read full, but when I print a test page or a status page, no black.

Officejet pro 6978. I've tried reinstalling the software and cleaning the heads and I'm getting frustrated.

@krate

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, this looks like either the ink cartridges might be defective or the ink might have dried up, this is really a rare scenario, If the Ink cartridge is still under warranty, I would recommend you contact our HP Support to seek for a replacement.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
