Black ink cartridge not aligning

Hi,

I have a Photosmart C4780 and an issue with a new 300 Black ink cartridge, I have no error messages and black is printing but it will not align. I put the old cartridge back in and it aligns fine, I put the new one in,  print the alignment page and scan but it still prints out of line. it looks like the new cartridge is an issue but want to see if there is anything I can do before trying to return the cartridge to the store which will then be my next problem because I don't have the packaging.!

This is an issue with the cartridge. You can contact HP Support for replacement

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.
