Hi @josuglz,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're dealing with a persistent issue where the left side of the printed page comes out blank or very low quality. You've already done some thorough troubleshooting, such as changing the cartridges, replacing the fuser, and cleaning the transfer belt. Here are a few additional steps and considerations that might help resolve the issue:
1. Check and Clean the Printhead
Since you've replaced the cartridges, it's worth ensuring the printhead is not clogged or dirty:
- Clean the Printhead: Use the printer’s built-in printhead cleaning utility. Follow the instructions in the printer’s manual or the utility on your computer.
- Inspect the Printhead: If the printhead can be removed, gently clean the printhead and its contacts with a lint-free cloth. Be cautious to avoid damage.
2. Check the Drum Unit
If your printer uses a separate drum unit, issues with it can cause uneven print quality:
- Inspect the Drum: Check for any signs of wear, damage, or toner buildup. Replace the drum if necessary.
- Clean the Drum: Gently clean the drum using a lint-free cloth or the manufacturer’s recommended cleaning tool.
3. Verify Paper Path and Feed Rollers
Ensure there are no issues with the paper path and feed rollers that could affect print quality:
- Check for Obstructions: Look for any paper dust, debris, or foreign objects that might be interfering with the paper path.
- Clean Feed Rollers: Use a lint-free cloth dampened with water to clean the paper feed rollers. Allow them to dry before using the printer again.
4. Check Printer Settings and Quality
Ensure that the print settings are correctly configured:
- Print Quality Settings: Verify that you’re not accidentally using a setting that reduces quality, such as "Economy" or "Draft" mode.
- Paper Type: Ensure you are using the correct type of paper for your print job. Different papers can affect print quality.
5. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
Outdated or corrupt printer drivers can cause print quality issues:
- Update Drivers: Download and install the latest drivers from the printer HP website.
- Reinstall Drivers: Sometimes, uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers can resolve persistent issues.
6. Check for Firmware Updates
Updating the printer’s firmware can resolve various issues:
- Check for Updates: Visit the HP website to see if there is a firmware update available for your printer model.
- Install Updates: Follow the instructions to download and install the update.
7. Perform a Printer Calibration
Sometimes, calibration issues can cause print quality problems:
- Run Calibration: Use the printer’s built-in calibration tool to adjust the printhead alignment and color accuracy. This option is usually available in the printer’s maintenance menu.
8. Inspect the Transfer Belt
Since you’ve cleaned the transfer belt, make sure it is properly installed and not damaged:
- Check Installation: Ensure that the transfer belt is correctly positioned and seated.
- Inspect for Damage: Look for any signs of wear or damage on the transfer belt.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
