HP ENVY Pro 6432 All-in-One Printer

I have recently purchased and installed HP Envy Pro 6432 but cannot get it to print. It responds but produces blank pages. I have tried everything suggested here - checked ink cartridge levels (supplied with printer), ran diagnostics and printer head clean programmes, checked for updates (none), turned off and on again in the prescribed way but still no joy. What can I do ?

Hi @Carole88,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Ink Cartridges and Installation:

  • Verify that the ink cartridges are correctly installed and seated properly in their respective slots.
  • Ensure that you have removed any protective tapes from the cartridges.
  • If you have replacement cartridges, try installing them to check if the cartridges are the issue.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

Clean the Ink Cartridges and Printhead:

  • Manually clean the cartridges and printhead:
    1. Turn off the printer and open the access door.
    2. Remove the ink cartridges.
    3. Clean any ink buildup or debris on the cartridges and printhead using a lint-free cloth and distilled water.
    4. Reinsert the cartridges and close the access door.

Align the Printhead:

  • Perform a printhead alignment through the printer settings:
    1. Open HP Smart App or access the printer's control panel.
    2. Navigate to maintenance tasks and select "Align Printhead".

Check Paper Compatibility and Settings:

  • Ensure you are using the correct type and size of paper recommended for your printer.
  • Verify your print settings within the printer driver software to ensure they match the type of paper being used.

Reset the Printer:

  • Reset the printer to its default factory settings:
    1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cable from the printer.
    2. Unplug the power cable from the power source.
    3. Wait for at least 60 seconds.
    4. Plug the power cable back into the power source and reconnect it to the printer.
    5. Turn on the printer and try printing again.
  • Firmware Update:
    • Make sure that the printer's firmware is up to date. Even if you checked for updates before, manually verify through the HP support website.

I hope this helps.
