Blank white touch screen control panel on HP8600 Plus printer makes it impossible the touch screen control panel.  I have rebooted the printer several times and the screen remains blank.

If the touch screen on your HP8600 Plus printer remains blank despite rebooting, there are several troubleshooting steps you can try.

 

  • Power Cycle: Completely power off the printer by unplugging it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on again. This can sometimes reset the device and resolve minor issues.
  • Reset: Some printers have a reset button or sequence that can be used to reset the device to its factory settings. Refer to your printer's user manual or support documentation to locate and perform a reset if available.
  • Check Connections: Ensure that all cables and connections to the printer are secure. Loose connections can sometimes cause issues with the display.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer and install them if possible. Firmware updates can sometimes address software bugs or compatibility issues that may affect the display.
