Hi, I have this colour printer. Recently it started to experience a noticeable colour misalignment. I have learned that it might be fixed by running colour calibration. Unfortunately a wall clock fell from piano directly on the printer's LCD screen. I can't see anything on it. It is cracked.
I wonder if somebody with the printer could navigate me through what up and down arrows and OK button on the LCD menu control pad to press to get to the calibration please?
The button panel does work.

Try to remove all 4 toner cartridges, turn the printer On without toners, and then insert toners one by one, after each toner installation close the door and wait the printer to stop rotating. Once the all 4 toners are inserted the printer will start an automatic calibration it last for like a minute.

Right, I did put all cartridges in, one by one and closed the door and waited for the rotation to stop for each. So I did with the first time I removed all.

But it does not seem to have started anything. I noted the time on the bloody clock that fell on the printer and it has been 10 minutes and there is nothing but the regular cartridge insertion spinning.

I have now printed the engine test page which produces crystal clear straight lines of each colour.

The ironic thing about colour test pages is that they print gradients of individual CMYK colours but not that many composites.

You can see though that the Magenta is one mil left.

In fact if I look closer to the circle in the right bottom corner, it shows that the shift is incremental. Cyan is 1/3mm off, Yellow is 2/3mm off and Magenta is 1mm off.  It is visible on zoom but not on the actual paper. The Cyan shift does not reach the Yellow shift and the Yellow does not reach the Magenta shift. The shift appears to be purely horizontal.

Edit N:

It appears to have worked at the end. I did a number of things, including taking all cartridges out while the printer was turned off etc. But now suddenly the print is aligned.

It is not clean of course but I understand it won't get better without spending few hours of screwing and bolting to get this thing open and clean the mirrors which have been purposely made inaccessible.
