Hi @ScreeName-120 ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand the attention light on an HP LaserJet printer is blinking, it usually indicates an issue that needs attention. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the blinking attention light problem on your HP LaserJet MFP M139we printer:
- Check for Paper Jams: Open all doors and trays of the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions. If you find any, carefully remove the jammed paper.
- Check Toner or Ink Cartridges: Ensure that the toner or ink cartridges are properly installed and are not empty. If they are low or empty, replace them with new cartridges.
- Restart the Printer: Sometimes, simply restarting the printer can resolve temporary issues. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
- Check for Firmware Updates: Make sure that your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually download firmware updates from the HP support website and install them following the provided instructions. Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Check Printer Connections: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a network printer, check the network cables and ensure that the printer is connected to the correct network.
- Reset the Printer: Try resetting the printer to its factory default settings. You can usually find instructions on how to do this in the printer's user manual or on the HP support website.
- Inspect for Hardware Issues: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, there may be a hardware problem with the printer.
- Check Error Messages: If the attention light is accompanied by an error message on the printer's display panel, take note of the error message and refer to the printer's user manual or HP support website for troubleshooting steps specific to that error.
