The resume light, info light, and all display icons are blinking.  I've tried unplugging it, disconnecting/reconnecting to wifi, and shutting the power off/on and nothing is working.  Also, the ink cartridge isn't moving when I open the tray.  Thoughts?

Hi @KM778370,

Thank you for the response.

Try these steps:

Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the printer's power cord from the back and the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Turn the printer back on and check if the issue persists.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer's access door.
  • Carefully inspect for any paper jams or obstructions. Remove any torn or jammed paper.
  • Close the door and try to print again.

Ink Cartridge Access:

  • If the ink cartridge tray does not move, ensure that there is no obstruction or jam preventing movement.
  • Manually check and make sure the cartridges are correctly inserted, as incorrect placement can lead to carriage jams.

Status and Error Lights:

  • Blinking lights usually indicate an error state. Refer to your printer's user manual for the specific error indicated by the combination of blinking lights. You can also visit the HP support page for more detailed explanations.

Wireless Connection:

  • Since you've already tried disconnecting/reconnecting to Wi-Fi, confirm that your router is working properly and other devices can connect without issues.

I hope this helps.
