HP LaserJet MFP M139we Printer

I keep getting a blinking!. I have tried every thing recommended. It was printing earlier today but now it will not. There is no paper jammed and it has a new cartridge in it which is a HP cartridge.

@Rougherhead, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP LaserJet MFP M139we Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

A blinking light on your HP LaserJet MFP M139we printer can indicate various issues. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot the issue:

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Ensure there are no paper jams inside the printer. Carefully inspect all accessible areas, including the input and output trays, and any covers you can open.

Verify Cartridge Installation:

  • Ensure the newly installed HP cartridge is correctly placed. Remove and reinstall the cartridge to make sure it is seated properly.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it for about 10 minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on to reset any potential errors.

Check Printer Status in HP Smart App:

  • If you have the HP Smart app installed, check the printer status through the app which can provide more details on the issue.

Reset the Printer:

  • For some issues, a reset might resolve the problem.
  • Turn off the printer.
  • Disconnect the power cord from the printer.
  • Wait about 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
