@Ezcam357, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP 2700 printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It sounds like your HP 2700 printer is experiencing a printing blockage or error state. Try these troubleshooting steps:

Restart Everything

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it from power, and wait for about 1-2 minutes.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check Printer Status

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your HP 2700 printer and select See what's printing.
  • If there are any stuck print jobs, click Cancel All Documents.

Set Printer as Default

  • In Devices and Printers, right-click your HP 2700.
  • Select Set as Default Printer.

Clear Print Spooler

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Find Print Spooler, right-click it, and select Stop.
  • Go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS, delete all files in this folder.
  • Go back to Print Spooler, right-click, and select Start.

Check for Errors on Printer Screen

  • If there’s an error code, let me know the exact message for more specific troubleshooting.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Visit HP’s official website to download and install the latest drivers.
  • Alternatively, go to Device Manager > Printers, right-click your printer, and select Update Driver.

Check Ink and Paper

  • Ensure there's no paper jam.
  • Check ink levels and replace if necessary.

If the issue persists, let me know what error message appears or if anything changes after trying these steps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
