@IVYS,

I understand you are receiving a "B343EC67" error on the printer screen.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Happy to report that HP Jay's private solution works perfectly. Thank you!

I do think however that with such a widespread system bug in the last firmware update, HP should either carry out an urgent universal further update for all online printers affected, or publish a solution grid list with appropriate procedures for each Printer series-type.

Otherwise HP Jay is going to have a job for life doing PM's, and some owners may not have yet tumbled the forum route to determine the convoluted secret solution..... and lost faith already.

Anyway, thanks for sorting me personally.

Well, it may be resolved for IVYS because you sent him the solution. However, you haven’t sent it to me yet 😩. Would really like to get it today as I have stuff to print for early Monday morning. Thank you so much.

Hi @doubletom,

I'd like to help!

I understand you are receiving a "B305" error on the printer screen.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

To restore the printer to the original factory defaults

1.From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).

2. Touch Printer Maintenance.

3. Touch Restore.

4. Touch Restore Factory Defaults. A message appears stating that the factory defaults will be restored.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

"Restore Factory Defaults" seems to be holding for now.  It's been over an hour and the printer is still up.

Thank you.

Thank you for responding to my post.  I did figure out how to factory reset from the printer control panel.  It seems to be working!
