Hi HP-Community,
I require help to navigate and solve an error message. Whenever I try to print - wireless, wired, USB - the printer crashes and displays the error code B8E41DC2 on a blue screen.
I have already tried resetting the printer - partial full reset - to no avail.
Any input would be much appreciated.
Many thanks

Hi Alden4,
Thank you for the reply.
I did as suggested but unfortunately it didn't work.
For anyone else searching for a solution, I did the following - so not sure which bit did the trick in the end.
- Deinstalled any HP Software including drivers, reset the printer to factory settings, unplugged it, waited a moment, setup up the printer without computer, updated the printer to the latest firmware, reinstalled HP software + drivers.
Good luck everyone

Hi @yandmay,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The error code B8E41DC2 on a blue screen is typically associated with a printer malfunction. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue.
- Restart the printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve the error. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for a few seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on again.
- Check the printer's manual: Consult the printer's manual or documentation to see if it provides any information about the error code B8E41DC2. This may provide specific guidance on how to resolve the issue.
- Update the printer driver: An outdated or corrupted printer driver can cause errors. Try updating the printer driver to the latest version to see if this resolves the issue.
I hope this helps.
