Hi @Havitush,

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your OfficeJet Pro 8023 is stuck on a blue screen with the code B8360002, and the touchscreen is unresponsive. Let’s go through a few steps to check what could be causing this.

Power reset the printer
With the printer turned on, unplug it from the wall (not just the printer end).
Wait 60 seconds, then plug it directly into the wall outlet and restart.

Remove any USB cables
Disconnect USB or Ethernet cables before powering on.
A corrupted job or communication error can trigger the blue screen.

Start the printer in a “cold” boot state
Unplug the printer → wait 2 minutes → hold the Power button → plug the cord back in while holding the button.
Release the button once the HP logo appears.

Check for stuck carriage or obstructions
Open the access door and confirm the ink carriage moves freely.
Mechanical stalls can sometimes trigger a system error at startup.

Remove and reseat the ink cartridges
Power off, remove all cartridges, then restart the printer without them.
When prompted, reinstall each cartridge one by one.

Try a firmware recovery attempt
With the printer off, press and hold Back + Cancel (X) (if available) while powering it on.
This sometimes forces a firmware reload in the backend.

Plug the printer into a different wall outlet
Avoid power strips or surge protectors.
Voltage dips can interrupt the firmware boot process.

Check if the blue screen appears immediately
If the error shows the moment it powers on, the issue is usually firmware-related rather than a user-setting or print job.

I hope this helps.
