I have a OfficeJet Pro 6968 that I purchased refurbished on Amazon. The other day, I noticed a paper jam error message, so I opened it up to clear the jam, but there was none. I then noticed part of a white gear laying under the cartridge assembly bar (see pics). It looks like the gear somehow snapped. Unfortunately, the 3rd party offered only a 90 warranty, and I am about 20ish days outside of that. The HP manufacture warranty is also expired.
I am not quite sure what to do at this point, and I don't see an option for emailing support to try and order the piece. Is it worth the hassle, or should I just cut my losses and get another printer?
Thanks!
