I, like many others, no longer have the setup cartridges from the initial install of my printer (4152) and now I cannot get past that error message. Can you please help me with bypassing that error message? I know I'm using Windows 10 but guessed on the 32 bit (not sure if that matters).
I'm so glad I gave up and decided to look online to see if someone else has had this problem! I have been trying for 2 days now!

@Maggiemaysgrace, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
To bypass the message on the printer the only option left is to perform an OOBE reset and re-initialize the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
