Has anyone found a way to turn off the sound the printer plays when it finishes printing?  I bought this to replace an 8600 that died.  So far, not really impressed, but I can live with it except the sound.  I've been through the manual, and all the options and cannot find a way to turn it off.

Sabertooth04, I have the fax disabled, but I thought I would try to enable it to try your solution.  However, I found the correct setting before made it that far.  I'll post it in case anyone else has the same issue I had.

From the home screen, touch settings (gear, upper left corner).

on settings screen, touch settings again  (gear, upper left corner).

on second settings screen, touch Preferences.

On preferences screen, scroll down to Sound Effects Volume.

Touch Sound Effects Volume, and pick your preference (Mute, Soft, Normal, or Loud).

Thanks

In the User guide it tells you have to turn the volume off.   Page 66.

To set the fax sound volume
1. From the printer control panel display, touch Fax .
2. Touch Setup , and then touch Preferences .
3. Touch Fax Volume.
4. Touch to select Soft, Loud, or Off .

Hi everyone,

Has anyone figured out how to turn off the sound that the OfficeJet Pro 8720 makes when it finishes printing?
I’ve checked the manual and gone through all the available settings, but I can’t seem to find any option to disable it.

Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
