Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Smart Tank 651.  Printer prints test sheets fine (EVERYTHING updated and rebooted).  I got three print jobs out of it, after troubleshooting (by myself).  Back to not 'seeing' the printer (Win 10 or Mac), which is roughly seven feet from my computer, where I have excellent Wi-Fi.  Is there no one?  I don't feel like logging into support again.  Maybe Reddit has some answers or at least a place to vent.

@Dan_of_Reason, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Restart the wireless router, the printer, and the PC

 

  • Make sure the printer and the MAC are connected to the same wireless network.
  • Either a 2.4GHz network or a 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.

Are you using the HP Smart app to print?
