Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

Can't clear error message 0x6100004a. another message says there is a paper jam but I cannot see anything after pulling out the cover inside the cartridge access area.

Can't clear error message 0x6100004a. Another message says there may be a jam but I don't see anything. Another message says the printer was shut off incorrectly, which is true because it was shut off using a power strip not the on/off button. Printer was purchased in 2017 so it is out of warranty.
