Printer: HP ENVY 5530
Operating system: Windows 10
Problem: Whenever I send a document to print to the printer, I receive the following message on its screen "Cannot print. Press OK to connect printer to update status." However whenever I press OK the printer gets stuck in the following screen "Connecting...," and nothing else happens from there. I can still issue it to scan a document and send it to my PC, however, I cannot print anything off. 
Whenever I use the embedded web service I'm told "An error has occurred, Unable to communicate with the Web Services server. However, you might still be able to use some of the printer's Web Services features." But I can't do anything else from that.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues printing using web services.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

Are you able to make a copy?

Are you trying to use HP ePint?

Is the printer connected to your wireless network?

What is the wireless light status on the printer?

Are you able to print documents from your computer?

 

Meanwhile, I recommend you follow the steps in the below article and enable web services on the printer and check whether the issue is resolved.

Hi, 

I'm unable to make a copy
I just trying to print off a word document from my laptop
Yes, it is connected to the wireless network, I've disconnected it and reconnected it twice. 
I believe it's flashing green, I may be confusing it with another light, however. 
I'm still unable to print documents from my printer. 
I've tried going through all the steps I can find from different posts, but none of them have worked so far.

It looks like a hardware issue and I recommend you contact support and check the available service options for your printer.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

 

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
