Can’t insert cartridge

Hi,

 

I just purchased the DeskJet 3755 and am trying to insert the cartridge. The holders for the ink cartridges do not move to the center. I’ve removed all packaging and tape from what I can see, tried gently pulling it to the center, have tried turning it off and on again, unplugging and plugging it in again, and opening and closing the lid.

 

I read a post with a similar problem and saw they were able to solve the problem but pressing down a piece of plastic blocking the cartridge holder, but that didn’t work for me either. 

 

The printer is on and appears to be working in all over regards.

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'Carriage Jam' or 'E3' Error Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
