Can't print magenta.

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a 6830 Office jet pro. I can't get the magenta color to print. I changed cartridges several times, did all the print head cleaning possible but no luck. I don't get any error messages, just won't print magenta. All other colors and black print perfectly. Could it still be that I need a new printhead even though I didn't get any error messages?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the printer is not printing magenta.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Are you facing the same issue when you make a copy?

Thanks, but I tried all of the steps in the article several times and nothing helped. It prints black, blue and yellow fine but no magenta. No error messages, just no print. Could it still be a print head issue even though there are no error messages?

Yes, exactly the same. Will not print magenta or ANY shade of red, pink, etc.

As you are facing the same issue even when you make a copy, it confirms a hardware issue and I recommend you contact support and check the available service options for your printer.

Here is how you can get in touch with support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Cheers!
