Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I haven't used my printer for over a year and when trying to reinstall it on the same computer I've had since I bought it, it will not print anything. I have tried fixing the spool, I have gotten new cartridges, I have uninstalled and installed again, I also updated the windows 10 to 2004 update. I don't know what else to do. Help!!!

I'd like to help!

 

To better assist you - 

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device? 

 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -

  1. Load plain white paper in the input tray.

  2. From the printer control panel, open the Setup  menu.

  3. Open the Reports or Tools menu.

  4. Touch Print Quality Report

Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further. 

 

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer -  Print Quality Issues

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
