Product: HP ENVY 5540 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

To print one document after a first, I must turn off the printer, and to do this I have to unplug the power cord as holding down the power button doesn't turn off the unit.  The printer also won't do duplex printing. I have followed all the available HP advice, unplugging and reconnecting, including downloading updates.  What should I do about these  problems?  Has my printer become too old?
