Card / paper weight / thickness

HP Recommended
HP Officejet 6950
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product info states paper thickness between 60 to 105 g/ms  but also states can take HP Glossy Photo paper which is 250 g/ms.  However, I have bought some card that is less than 200 g/ms but the printer "slips" when the card goes through.  I've set the printer settings to thick paper and I've also tried setting it to glossy photo paper.  Can anyone help with what weight card will go through?  TIA

Hi,

What exact paper type is it?

The printer supports 163 to 200 gsm Card paper, and supports 220 to 280 gsm Photo Paper, is this a Glossy Photo Paper or a Card? these are different paper types...

@TinaG29

Card paper is not Photo paper.

The two media types (kind of paper) are not interchangeable.

That means you cannot load / use Card paper and call it "photo paper" in the print driver (printer software).

The Datasheet mentions "Index card", though it does not indicate weight limitations.

Typically, Index card paper is supported in weights:

163 to 200 g/m² (card)

Thank you Shlomil.  It's 180gms white matte card.  I rang HP support and, after a lot of time, they just said that this thickness wasn't supported so I gave up.  It used to got through but now just slips and doesn't print properly.  Do you know what settings its best to have the printer and printer properties set on to allow it to go through.  I've tried all sorts of combinations.
