Carriage Jam on control panel.  I've tried all the HP videos on this issue several times and none of the suggestions solved the problem.  Each time I re-power the printer I get the "carriage jam" error and can't get past this.  I've checked very carefully for paper or other obstructions but cannot find any.  Can't get to the reset menu on the control panel because I can't get past the "carriage Jam" error.  Any other suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Carriage jam or E3 error and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
