I have an OJP 8620 that will is in need of a regionalization reset (cartridges are "incompatible").
When calling HP, the technicians reference a procedure of "right clicking" inside of the HP Smart computer application and selecting "regionalization reset". I've tried running this procedure on 3 computers (1 Macbook Pro, 1 Dell Windows-based laptop and 1 windows-desktop) and the process hasn't worked on any of the 3.
Anyone else have a solution or a similar problem? HP wants me to buy a new printer when the one I have is working perfectly outside of their systematic/planned obsolescence of a 5 year old machine.
