Hi @Patel124,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
A cartridge jam in your HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-In-One Printer can be frustrating, especially when there appears to be no visible obstruction. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions
- Remove any paper trays and inspect for any jammed paper or small bits of paper that might be stuck.
- Open the printer access door to check for and remove any debris or paper inside the printer.
Inspect the Cartridges
- Open the printer's access door to access the cartridges.
- Remove each cartridge and inspect them for any visible damage or ink build-up.
- Ensure the cartridges are properly seated and not loose.
Clean the Cartridge Contacts
- Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled water to gently clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges.
- Allow the contacts to dry for a few minutes before reinstalling the cartridges.
Check the Carriage Path
- Ensure the carriage (the part that holds the ink cartridges) can move freely from left to right.
- If the carriage is stalled on the left side, gently move it to the right to see if there is any obstruction or resistance.
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn on the printer.
- While the printer is on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
Update Printer Firmware
- Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can download the latest firmware updates from the HP Support website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
