Have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8130e and receiving a "Check your account" pop up on both the computer and the printer itself. It's communicating to the hp site as it appears to have a green check when communicating but still can't get past this error.

A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.
1) Take out the cartridges
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

Thank you for getting back to me!
So it appears that the software on the printer itself was acting up.
Had to reset the printer to factory settings. Once loaded, had to establish the connection within the HP Smart App and it finally began to work again after that.
